Scriptural Reasoning and the Fellowship of Contemplative Prayer warmly invite you to
Jewish, Christian and Muslim Scripture Reading and Contemplative Prayer. The 16th century St Ignatius of Loyola taught an imaginative approach to praying Biblical texts, which many people have found helpful over the centuries. The evening will offer a short introduction, and an opportunity to experience the practice.
(Nearest Tube: Hampstead )
This is not a form of “interfaith prayer”. Each prayer service is entirely separate and conducted according to the practice of each faith, and you are quite free only to attend the prayer of your own tradition. However, the three prayer services will follow one after another and are open to all.
To attend please reply by e-mail to enquiries@scripturalreasoning.org.uk
Please dress appropriately for prayer within your own tradition. Both men and women of all traditions are requested to wear head covering for Jewish and Islamic prayers.
